Buying Notebooks Under $500

by John Roth

Buying cheap notebooks does not necessarily mean the notebook is not a great laptop; it simply means that a well built notebook created by a major manufacture is selling for less than 500 dollars.

Basically the notebook was still under warranty and was sent back to the manufacture. Then the computer is re-tested by a quality control team by the manufacture to make sure the hardware and software works perfectly before it was shipped out again.

Refurbished notebooks can sell for 25% to 50% lower than when the computer was originally shipped out. A great bargain! And these notebooks work very well.

In addition, larger and more complex operating systems are being created, needing more hard drive space, faster processors, and more RAM"thus the price of the majority of the laptops sold in the world escalates upward.

Refurbished notebooks can break just like a standard notebook from the same manufacture, but at least youre getting the computer at a 25% to 50% discount. Its like buying a foreclosed home at steep discount (nearly brand new).

I personally buy two notebooks every time I need a new laptop. If my main computer breaks or gets hit by a virus (heaven forbid); I can reach for my backup and quickly be re-group without much time delay. And buying cheap computers is an easy and affordable method to accomplish.

Buying cheap notebooks is the best method to accomplish what I do most; which is emailing, internet searches, and writing in Word. You do not need to buy an expensive computer just to accomplish those tasks.

You can buy notebooks for less than 500 dollars from major manufacturers such as: IBM, Dell, HP, Compaq, etc. You do not need to worry about whether these computers will work; these notebooks are tested before they leave the factory (just like any other laptop).

Think smart, you do not need the most expensive notebooks to accomplish simple tasks.

Sincerely, John Roth Note Books Under 500 Inc.
